Victor Maymudes "Another Side of Bob Dylan: A Personal History on the Road and off the Tracks"
St. Martin's Press | English | September 9, 2014 | ISBN: 125005530X | 304 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 19,3 mb

This book has been beaten up by some. And I have to say if I had to rate it as a book about Dylan, it would maybe be a 2. There really isn't that much to it, except a few morsels. But just as a book by itself, it was a fun read. How much is true in all this, I have no idea. There was a quote by the author about pictures on the internet about Dylan playing chess and that they are all with his father. I took him up on that, but it seems that the few images there are of Dylan playing chess were all taken on the same day.

Corinne Hofmann "The White Masai: My Exotic Tale of Love and Adventure"
Amistad | English | October 2, 2007 | ISBN: 0061131539 | 320 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,50 mb

I thought this book was incredibly interesting. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be in her shoes. I, unlike a reviewer below, found her to be incredibly self-sacrificing in the face of so much hardship. She really wanted to make this relationship work and was willing to go to great lengths to do so, but her efforts to understand another culture were not reciprocated by the man she fell in love with.
